KCV invested in Ofgen Limited in February 2020 towards company expansion strategy mainly to provide working capital for their EPC Contracts. Ofgen Limited is a Kenya-based company a broad range of competencies in the commercial and industries (C&I) sector from statutory energy audits, energy metering and monitoring solutions to solar PV and thermal project development and implementation. Ofgen offers both turn-key & funded solutions. Majority Kenyan owned company in a sector with numerous foreign-owned players. To date, the company has implemented or under implementation of approx 2.6 MW & 4.5 MWhrs storage solutions.
