 Rafode Ltd is a micro-finance organization working with the rural low-income earners in western Kenya with the objective of increasing household and MSMEs access to renewable energy products.  The company sources solar home systems as well as efficent cookstoves (such as the Jikokoa cookstove) directly from the manufacturers and then offers these products on credit to its customers. The customers are organized in groups hence co-guarantee each other within the group.
