Florence Wambua brings over 10 years of professional experience in sustainable agri-lending, impact investing, and SME banking. Before joining Kenya Climate Ventures, she worked at Root Capital Inc., Family Bank Limited, and Guaranty Trust Bank (Kenya) Limited.

Florence holds an MBA in Finance from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture & Technology, a Bachelor’s in Business Administration (Finance & Accounting) from Kenya Methodist University, and a Diploma in Cooperative Management from The Cooperative University of Kenya.

She is passionate about leveraging capital as a catalyst for sustainable development, focusing on impact investing that yields both financial returns and measurable environmental and social outcomes.
